Let’s Unveil Seven Things We Don’t Want To Aspire Toward

I thought about whether or not to write this post all day. Ultimately I feel it’s important that we understand that yes God is Love, but He is also our Judge. He is a righteous Judge of course. We need to protect ourselves daily from the enemy’s devices that can trick us into any of these things.

Seven Things God Hates

So having said that, let’s unveil seven things we DON’T want to aspire toward. These seven things are defiance against God. Whether big or small offenses, there are absolutely seven things that God hates.

12 A worthless person, a wicked man,
Walks with a perverse mouth;
13 He winks with his eyes,
He shuffles his feet,
He points with his fingers;
14 Perversity is in his heart,
He devises evil continually,
He sows discord.
15 Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly;
Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.

16 These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

Proverbs 6:16-19

Now, I don’t watch the Grammy’s but today I saw a post that showed a video of a performance done on the Grammy’s this year. A performance so wicked and disgusting that it provoked my Spirit to anger. We need to stop allowing Hollywood and all other types of media to deceive us. Movies and music today are targeting our minds and the minds of our children. I won’t post what I saw because I will not put such evil on my site. I’m sure If you’re curious you can find it, but I don’t recommend it.

We Must Take A Stand!

If we don’t take a stand, it’s only going to get worse. By and large, many will call the type of performance done at the Grammy’s entertainment, but I call what I witnessed a flat out war against God. It was an in your face satanic display for millions to see. Believe it or not there is a spiritual war going on? There is, and it’s pretty simple. It’s good verses evil. Love verses hate. Wickedness verses holiness.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
