In the book of Hebrews we see that God is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Do you wonder how it is that you are rewarded? It really has nothing to do with our salvation. Our salvation is given to us as a free gift. But a free gift is exactly that, it’s free. We have done nothing to earn it. But when we talk about rewards, that’s different. For instance, we might say to a child “Go clean your room and then we’ll go get some ice cream.” The child has been given a task, for which he is being rewarded for achieving. Let’s uncover how God rewards His people for being obedient to His word.
30 “Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 “For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Mat 6:30-34 NKJV
As you read Matthew 6:30-34 you see that We are being told not to worry about the every day necessities that we need, God knows what we need. These verses to me really say, stop wasting valuable time, energy and money, on the things we generally seek to purchase and instead seek God. He will take care of the things we need. We should make Him a priority. Our days should start by thanking Him for our lives and by reading His word. This is us seeking Him first. Seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
Rewards From God In Return For Our Faithfulness To Seek Him.

- He defends us
- He is our advocate
- He gives us an inheritance
- Every gives us every spiritual blessing in the heavens
- This list goes on and on.
